Dr. Loveland
Dr. Daniel Loveland brings a unique combination of scientific expertise and personal understanding to his dental practice. His comprehensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University, a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and advanced training through the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at New York University Langone.
A Personal Understanding of Patient Care
Dr. Loveland's path to dentistry was shaped by his passion for science and health and his extensive personal experience as a dental patient during childhood. This background gave him firsthand insight into what dentistry can accomplish and the profound impact that compassionate care can have on patients. Today, he draws on these experiences to ensure his patients have positive dental experiences and receive care that makes a real difference in their well-being.

What Dr. Loveland finds most rewarding about his work is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his patients' lives. Whether he's helping someone achieve a brighter smile, providing relief from pain, or developing a personalized treatment plan, he finds deep satisfaction in supporting people in ways they can't manage alone. His approach combines clinical expertise with genuine empathy, creating an environment where patients feel understood and cared for.
Life Beyond Dentistry
When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Loveland is an avid reader who enjoys everything from biographies to science fiction and fantasy, and particularly sharing books with his wife. He stays active through golf and basketball, and loves exploring the outdoors with his family, discovering new beaches, dunes, parks, and trails together.
Dr. Loveland proudly embraces his "nerd" side, diving into cartoons and video games with his twin 11-year-olds and sharing the things he loved as a child. The family often attends various conventions, from art and anime events to his personal favorite, Comic-Con in San Diego.
Despite admitting to limited cooking skills, Dr. Loveland has recently perfected a cinnamon roll recipe, enjoying the process of tweaking it until he's creates something truly delicious.
Mireya
Mireya brings over 14 years of dental hygiene experience to our team, joining Loveland Dental in 2019 after completing her education at San Joaquin Valley College. Her journey in dentistry began with a simple but powerful motivation: helping people rediscover the confidence that comes with a healthy smile.
As a registered dental hygienist, Mireya provides comprehensive preventive care, including thorough cleanings, scaling and root planing, sealants, and detailed oral health assessments. She takes a holistic approach to patient care, understanding that oral health directly impacts overall wellness.
What drives Mireya most is witnessing patients regain their confident smiles and seeing the positive transformation that good oral health brings to their lives. She collaborates closely with our team to ensure each patient receives personalized care that addresses both their immediate needs and long-term health goals.
When she's not helping patients achieve healthier smiles, Mireya enjoys expressing her creativity through baking, crafting, and quilting.
Johana
Dental Assistant
Johana joined our team in 2024, with 20 years of dental experience that began with on-the-job training in 2004. Shortly after starting her dental career, she obtained her x-ray license, and her passion for helping people has driven her ever since.
What Johana loves most about her role is connecting with patients and building genuine friendships. She believes that sometimes patients just need someone who truly listens, and if she can be that person, it makes her entire day. Her approach to patient care goes beyond clinical assistance—she's dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for.
As Dr. Loveland's assistant, Johana keeps the back office running smoothly while making patient comfort her top priority. Her warm personality and genuine interest in getting to know each patient create an atmosphere where even anxious visitors feel at ease.
When she's not helping patients feel comfortable, Johana enjoys binge-watching true crime shows and following current high-profile cases. As a proud #girlmom to four daughters, she loves spending time with her girls and having fun together. Her family are self-proclaimed foodies who love trying different cuisines and desserts.
Jenny
Brodi

Brodi brings nearly 12 years of dental experience to her role as the welcoming voice and face of our practice. Her journey in dentistry began in 2013 when a family member's dental emergency showed her how transformative quality dental care could be.
What Brodi loves most is being the first point of contact for patients, whether they're calling or visiting in person. She takes pride in scheduling appointments that fit busy lives and working with insurance companies to ensure patients receive the care they need. Her genuine dedication to patient comfort and years of experience help her navigate even complex scheduling and insurance situations with ease.
Brodi is part of an amazing team of women who share Dr. Loveland's passion for exceptional dental care, and she knows patients can feel that enthusiasm from the moment they arrive.
When she's not helping patients smile, Brodi enjoys going to Pismo Beach and playing billiards with her husband and kids, binge-watching Bones and Criminal Minds with her daughter, watching her son work on his care, and taking road trips with her youngest daughter for soccer tournaments. A fun fact about Brodi is that, as a kid, she used to enjoy roller skating with her dad.
Dr. Loveland is awesome. Helped us out getting our kiddos comfortable and even enjoying seeing a dentist. He is always good to help us in a pinch.
